Emission Test in Gunung Urban Village Serves 77 Vehicles

As many as 77 vehicles participated free emission test held by South Jakarta Environmental Sub-agency at Kerinci Park, Gunung Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru.

Hopefully we can run emission test routinely

South Jakarta Environmental Sub-agency's Environmental Pollution and Damage Control Section Head, Tuty Ernawati said today's emission test targeted operational and private vehicles.

"The implementation of this emission test is in accordance with Regional Regulation No 66/2020 about Motor Vehicle Exhaust Emission Testing which aims to monitor the emission thresholds emitted by vehicles," she said, Wednesday (11/13).

64 Vehicles Undergo Emissions Test in South Jakarta

Tuty added, those 76 vehicles were 35 motorcycles, 29 gasoline-fueled vehicles, and 13 diesel-engine vehicles.

"We still found three units of vehicles, both two and four wheels, that did not pass the emission test. We urge owners to immediately calibrate and routinely service their vehicle," she added.

Gunung Urban Village Head, Elvita Rahmadani Rangkuti thanked the synergy in implementing free emission test. It's the government effort in reducing air pollution in Jakarta.

"Hopefully we can run emission test routinely since the protocol road here full with vehicles," she stated.
